Bill Fergus is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in the area of Residential Real Property Law. He practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law, homeowner association law, auction law, business law, estate planning, and probate law. He is a frequent speaker and writer on these topics.
His experience includes service as corporate counsel for a variety of companies, including a large independent land title agency and two communications companies. He is the current Chairperson of the Columbus Bar Association's Real Property Committee, and is the CBA's liaison to the Standard Forms Committee of the Columbus Board of Realtors®.
Bill holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University, a master's degree from The Ohio State University, and a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Capital University Law School. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association, and is active in community affairs in Columbus and Worthington. Bill and his wife Jill have been married for 35 years, and live in Downtown Columbus.
